Where can I view artwork and photographic images?

Online Platforms

Currently, all my work can be viewed online on the following platforms:

Galleries and Art Fairs

Currently, I am not yet listed in any galleries, nor am I actively involved in any art fairs or markets. As this changes, I will post news and updates on my social media pages ie Instagram and Facebook

 

ORDERS AND SHIPPING

How do I order artwork or photographic images?

  • At this stage, my website and social media pages do not have an e-commerce facility.

  • Orders and sales are managed through direct communication with me via direct messaging on social media or emails.

  • Contact me directly on gclarke1958@gmail.com or message me

 

Can I order a reproduction with printing options in an all-in-one process?

Local/South African Orders

  • For an all-in-one printing package, you can select from my gallery on “PrintWild” or “Living Canvas” where some of my work can be viewed.

  • Simply select the artwork or photographic image together with your format and size and place your order on the above sites.

  • I will be contacted to generate an invoice which is a “licensing fee”.

  • You pay for the fee plus the cost of printing.

  • Free delivery via courier to major centres in South Africa.

International Orders

  • Contact me regarding the purchase of a digital file subject to my terms and conditions and copyright.

  • A high-resolution digital file is emailed to you once payment has been processed via Paypal (terms and conditions apply) – clients then have the freedom and flexibility to use their own local printer thus saving on shipping costs.

  • I am currently investigating international options for one-stop shopping and printing.

 

What price can I expect to pay for your artwork and images?

  • Prices will be disclosed for specific work when an enquiry is received either via email, WhatsApp or through the forms on this website. Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue products or service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

  • We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of products or service.

 

What are the shipping arrangements and do you ship outside South Africa?

International

  • Yes, I do ship internationally subject to additional charges! International shipping is calculated according to the various international shipping zones

  • International customers are responsible for the payment of any duties or customs taxes in addition to standard shipping charges.

  • Customers who refuse to receive international orders will not be refunded the original shipping fee and will be responsible for an additional fee to help cover the shipping and customs costs to return the product.

  • We recommend you contact your country's customs office in advance for an estimate of fees before placing your order if you have any questions.

Local (South Africa)

Local courier services operate throughout South Africa.

 

When can I expect to receive my order?

  • Processing of orders can take between 3 to 5 days.

  • Courier and delivery for local shipments can take from 3 to 7 days depending on location.

  • Please allow up to a further 14 days for international deliveries.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

  • At this stage payments are in the form of PayPal transactions for international customers and EFT/bank transfers for South African customers.

  • Any forex payment to my bank account will be subject to additional bank fees and the prevailing ZAR exchange rate.

 

Do I receive an order confirmation email?

Emails confirming your order are sent out immediately after you complete your purchase! Please check the spam folder to locate the email and make sure I am not marked as spam to ensure receipt of future communication to your Inbox.

 

Are prints available for purchase?

Yes! You may order prints directly from me.

 

Do you do commissions?

Yes! Email me with what you’re thinking, and we can discuss in more detail.

 

 

COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION

  • Copyright is secured automatically when Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art creates an original work that people can see or hear such as a book/writing, painting, photographic image or music. Most works eligible for copyright protection do not require registration or other formalities, except for cinematograph films.

  • Copyright arises automatically and is free. It needs not be registered.

  • As the copyright owner of artwork and photographic images, Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art has the right to make and sell copies of artwork and images; make new works from artwork and images; and display artwork and images publicly, including on the internet.

 

May I use Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art images for personal projects?

  • Due to copyright, licensing and intellectual property restrictions and regardless of whether you're an individual or a business owner, you cannot use my artwork and photographic images without my permission.

  • This is theft and opens you up to legal action. If you wish to use my artwork and photographic images in a legal and appropriate manner, please get in touch with me via email.

 

Does my purchase entitle me to resell further forms of your art or image?

  • All artwork on this website, and all artwork created by Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art is owned exclusively by Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art who is the copyright holder.

  • Gary Clarke/Gary Clarke Art reserves all reproduction rights, including the right to claim statutory copyright in the “Work” ie all original work, prints, reproductions and photographic images.

  • The “Work” may not be photographed, sketched, painted, copied, resold, exploited, duplicated or reproduced in any manner whatsoever without the express written consent of the copyright holder.

I am a South African artist passionate about wilderness, design and composition.  I use art, photography and writing to capture nature and human connections. My art echoes my love for graphics and illustration and is often supported by my need to write as an expression of what stirs my soul and as a tool for encouragement, education and change.
